What to get a 23 year old guy who is not into sports but loves tool and high tech gadgets ?

I want to get him something great but Im on a budget and cant really spend more than $100 on him for christmas. Were moving in together in Jan . He is all about playing the bass, currently he is playing fable II video game and doesn’t really like sports So any ideas?
